Man Plans, God laughs...

Well, I'm not going to lie. I'm a little disappointed.
I applied for this : http://girlguides.ca/default.asp?id=101#sangam and received the "ever-so-kind" letter of rejection today :(
On the brighter side of things - Team Solar Death Ray (SDR) placed third in trivia this evening (see picture above - I'm still not very blog-savvy) and I came home to drown my sorrows in half a bottle of Dave's red wine with my housemate Matt. Sorrow shared is sorrow halved. Yes.

Because they can see where you are, and they know where you've been...

This weekend was Howie MacMaster's wedding. I grew up with Howie, so it's kind of strange to see him grown-up and married. I'm pretty sure that the first time I saw Howie around the subject of marriage was when we dressed him up in a wedding gown and did a video remake of Don MacLean's "American Pie". I admit it, growing up in small town Prince Edward Island you had to make your own adventures!

However, after some turmoil (and missing the ceremony) Kevin (my incredibly kind friend) and I made it to the reception in Hatley, Quebec!
If nothing else, we had a beautiful drive and good conversation :)
